M.Sc. Artificial Intelligence student at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. I ship production-grade ML systems — from agentic AI pipelines to real-time computer vision — and I'm passionate about applying this work to challenges in automotive, engineering, and deep tech.
// Who I am
I'm Assad — an AI/ML engineer from Haripur, Pakistan, now based in Cottbus, Germany, where I'm pursuing my M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. I moved here because Germany is where serious engineering happens, and I wanted to be part of that.
Over the past 3+ years I've worked across the full ML lifecycle: designing predictive models at Tekvaly, shipping agentic AI backends at Think3DDD, and building computer vision systems that run in real-time. I care about work that actually ships and actually performs.
I'm now targeting Werkstudent and internship roles at innovative companies — particularly in automotive, robotics, and deep tech. I want to contribute to teams building products that define the next decade.

Built an end-to-end analytics pipeline extracting customer purchasing patterns from transactional data using SQL CTEs, Python EDA, and customer segmentation — surfaced through an interactive Power BI dashboard enabling real-time KPI tracking for business stakeholders.
Designed a full forecasting pipeline for household and industrial energy consumption. Benchmarked ARIMA, XGBoost, and LSTM — ensembling the best performers to achieve production-grade accuracy. Optimized pipeline reduced deployment cycles significantly.
Implemented YOLOv8 with OpenCV integration for real-time vehicle license plate detection across live video streams. Validated across diverse lighting and environmental conditions. Fully containerized in Docker for scalable, production-ready inference.
Built an MVP AI web app that processes official German bureaucratic letters — extracting plain-language summaries, deadlines, EN↔DE translations, and generating editable draft responses with PDF export. Built specifically to solve a real pain point for expats in Germany.

I'm actively looking for Werkstudent and internship positions in Germany — in AI engineering, ML systems, computer vision, or data science. If your team is building something ambitious, I'd love to be part of it.
